Acts 2:19-2: "And I will show wonders in Heaven above, and signs in the
earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke; the sun shall be turned
into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the
Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of
the Lord shall be
saved."
Revelation 18:2, 5: "Mighty Babylon is fallen! She has become a resort and
dwelling place for demons, a dungeon haunted by every loathsome spirit, an abode
for every filthy and detestable bird ... her iniquities (her crimes and
transgressions) are piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her
wickedness and [her] crimes [and calls them up for
settlement]."
