The word "in" is "en" Strong's # 1722 and is translated into about 15-different English words, including "after" and the word "which" is the word "hos" # 3739 and is also translated "that". The word "the" has no definition in Strong's.This can read "after which".We are to look for a new heaven and earth.

We are members of Christ's Body. Jesus Christ is God. All three statements are true

Rev 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Man was once righteous and holy but he fell from that condition, was lost in sin and needed a Savior. In the new Eden he will be righteous and holy again and he will NEVER fall again. He will be holy and righteous FOREVER.

Those that rejected so great a salvation will be unjust and filthy FOREVER. The time to change will be over with. Eternity has set in, and ALL people will STAY THE SAME as they were before they died in the flesh.

We believers will not spend eternity in heaven, we will spend eternity on a New Earth. The place of many mansions that Christ talks bout in John 14 will be on this earth.

John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

This place is the New Jerusalem that comes DOWN from heaven. Jesus said we would be where He is. He will be ON EARTH.The Old Jerusalem is but a shadow, or picture of things to come.

This Fathers house of many mansions comes DOWN to the NEW EARTH.

Gal 4:25-26 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

This Fathers house of many mansions comes DOWN to the NEW EARTH.We will not be WITH GOD, He will be WITH US.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.God starts ALL OVER again.

Lucifer, that old Satan fouled things up. He defiled the heaven with sin and he defiled earth with sin and he defiled man made in the image of God with sin.

In the old creation God made the heaven and earth first. After that He made the inhabitants and last of all he made man.

The new creation process is going on right now. Only this time He is making man first. He is making A NEW MAN.

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain (two) one new man, so making peace;

Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

The New Creation will be kind of like it was BEFORE CREATION I think. There was ONLY Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In the new creation there will be only Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, only the Son will have many "new creatures" as parts of His Body, and there will be angels.

There will be no chance of sin in the new creation. ALL the sinners will be in the Lake of Fire. The remaining angels will have passed the test. If they were to sin there would be NO HOPE of salvation. They have STOOD FAST in the faith

The remnant of man will have passed the test. They will have STOOD FAST in the faith, but ONLY by the GRACE OF GOD. Now eternity has set in and NO ONE CAN CHANGE, man or angels.See, I believe time exists even in the old heaven.

Rev 6:10-11 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Now, although time still exists after death, man STILL cannot sin. The Bible says that man CANNOT SIN OR BE SAVED AFTER DEATH.

"still" is defined as "of time or degree". The English words are "henceforth", which means forever, permanently, for all time. Also "hereafter" which means after life, which is eternity.

The faithful angels are awaiting the outcome of Satan and his angels and of mankind. They see no hope of salvation offered to the rebellious angels and they are curious of the salvation offer to man.

1 Pet 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into."desire to look into" to set the heart upon-covet-lust after.THIS is AMAZING.

Ps 8:4-5 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Heb 2:6-7 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:Man has reign, that is the rule, over God's creation, except for heaven.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.One day man will reign over heaven.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.Since believers are the BODY OF CHRIST, we shall reign forever and ever.

Rev 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.I cannot find where angels are given this honor and privilege. Awesome!
